Mentorship

Current sophomores, juniors, and seniors, if you would like to be involved, consider signing up to be a peer mentor! Mentorship is the core aspect of our program and your support and guidance could be invaluably helpful for freshmen in STEM.

Mission Statement

The Princeton Association for Women in STEM serves to support, mentor, empower Princeton female freshmen during their academic transition process to Princeton, especially in STEM courses, which can prove to be especially demanding. Freshmen are matched to sophomores and upperclassmen who are in STEM majors most related to their interests. These pairs meet regularly, where peer mentors provide academic advice and connect their mentees to other resources that can be helpful. In addition, freshmen members have access to a collection of study guides and materials that members have created during their STEM courses at Princeton as well as information about internship, research, and study abroad opportunities.
